EDDIE CHACON: NEW ALBUM, GREAT STUFF

Some people are already all over this, some are not – but Eddie Chacon was in Charles & Eddie (‘Would I Lie To You?’ ohyeah!) and he’s been releasing really, really brilliant music lately. Like, utterly fantastic AOR/Future Soul/NuYacht brilliance on Stones Throw Records. No lie.

With the 2020 album ‘Pleasure, Joy And Happiness’, he showed his brilliant chops and made everyone’s eye go out on stalks. Listen to his track ‘Hurt’ – it’s dazzlingly fantastic.

Well, he’s back and he’s continuing to be brilliant. It’s music for adult enthusiasts and the sophisticated youngster. The follow-up is called ‘Sundown’ and has the same luxurious vibe as the first.

Chacon said in a press release: “It’s about finally realising that oftentimes we are the only person standing in our way.”
